You will not be exchanging stupid mileage points for wheels or helmets. They don't even have descriptions of the cars. They have a reward system that makes you feel like you've gained something more than just winning or finishing a race. It makes you feel like the cars are put on pedestals. The displays, the car info, the photo shots of the different angles of the cars, all that. GT really does a great job at praising the cars so to say. One thing to note though coming from Gran Turismo. But then again, there's only 3, you should have them all. In my opinion, for console (PS4) for only having 3 racing titles that are top tier for real racing and not arcadey stuff, Project Cars 2 is a must have. Let's not forget real damage, dynamic time and weather with multiple weather slots that you can pick from and tuning that goes above and beyond what GT ever had (save for adding wings and turbo kits or exhausts, ect. Maybe some screen tearing and other graphical mishaps.īut - for the amount of content it has and the feel of the game both physics and FFB, it does good. Most of the bugs don't affect the outcome of races though. Go into this game expecting a bug here and there. They do offer enough though to get into some really good races.
But on console, there is a little lack of content. That alone is one of my favorite features of AC (and this is a feature that would have made GTS Custom Races amazing). One nice thing about AC is that you can create your own championship, pick the amount of races on different tracks, pick the point system, pick the amount of practice and qualifying and then pick the cars you race against one by one and what livery they have.
